An update is needed for the American Academy of Pediatrics clinical report “Adolescent and Young Adult Tattooing, Piercing, and Scarification” (Pediatrics 2017;140[4]: e20171962). There was an error in Table 3: Body Piercing and Tattooing of Minors: Consent and Physical Presence Requirements by State. Tattooing in Minnesota should be listed in the Outright Prohibition column instead of the Consent Required column. The National Conference of State Legislatures Web site (Reference 101), available at http://www.ncsl.org/research/health/tattooing-and-body-piercing.aspx, lists the correct laws, statutes, and regulations for each state. In addition, the liaison from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Dr Lauren Zapata) was inadvertently omitted from the Committee Roster. The online version of the clinical report has been corrected.
